Tonka Truck Still Life Painting

Here's a little still-life painting (done in oil on linen) of a yellow Tonka jeep and some random cans and cups.

I rather liked that Tonka truck. It reminded me of the ones from my childhood, when they were made out of metal, rather than disposable plastic. It carries some of the iconography of childhood.

In any case, the painting of it is all that remains, the truck itself was given over to my (at the time 5 year old) son who destroyed it utterly.
