Drawing, Girl with drapery

Here's a two hour life drawing done at CCA's carriage house. It's done in chalk and charcoal on toned paper.

Bruce Wolfe, the guy running the life drawing group likes to dramatically light the model. You can see how her face and torso are illuminated while her lower body is in shadow.

Once the models lit, there's a jockeying among all of the artists for the best spot. No one wants to get stuck spending the whole time staring into the spotlight!
