Here's a pastel by my friend Christian Stratton.
It was a foggy day in Redwood Regional Park up in the hills above my house, and the two of us had trecked up there to do some painting.
As I recall, I just beavered away on an uninspired rendering of some pine trees, while Christian used me for a model and did this much better piece.
