Since it's fathers day, Alexandria graciously agreed to pose for this little (8"x10") portrait study. Here she's resting in the hammock under the wisteria outside the studio. Even though it's June, it was a little cool in the shade, so she's snuggling under a blanket.
The dappled light coming through the leaves overhead was really tough to capture, it was so variable! Eventually I gave up and just rendered her in shadow.

ReplyDeleteYeah, the nice thing about these little portraits is that they get more precious as she ages, and I forget what she looked like as a 7 year old.
I just wish that I could get her to pose for more often...
