That's funny... even though it is all a painting, the effect it gives me (at least on the computer screen) is of a dimensional scene in the foreground, with a flat matte-painting immediately behind it.

ReplyDeleteOne of the things I was after was a clear and distinct spatial relationship between the model and the landscape. I probably went a bit overboard!
